Wheelie Bin Stickers

Worried about dangerous driving in your neighbourhood? Do drivers speed along your street, leave their engines idling or ignore traffic restrictions? Leeds City Council is committed to making our roads safe for everyone. With that in mind, we are launching a set of bright, new bin stickers to help to reduce speeding and dangerous driving in Leeds.

We’ve got six to choose from. They remind drivers to slow down, wear seatbelts, give space to cyclists and switch their engines off when not moving. They also highlight 20mph zones and and tell people how to submit video clips of dangerous driving.

How to apply

To apply for wheelie bin stickers, please contact your local councillor (find out who that is here). You can ask your councillor for:

  • Either one full set, containing one of each design (one set per household)
  • Stickers with the message/s that are most relevant to your neighbourhood (up to six stickers per household).

Once we hear from your councillor, we aim to post these out within 10 working days.
