Over 28,000 employees of organisations across the city participated in the annual survey between March and September 2019. Respondents were ask to state how they travel to work. The survey results record their main mode of travel. The data collected is used for site travel plan monitoring, and to inform future transport investment decisions. The results highlight the continuing increase in the number of respondents travelling to work by sustainable modes of travel. The most significant changes are in overall public transport use and in the number of inner city commuters walking to work.
